Norwegian People's Aid Global e-Procurement portal is the official procurement portal of the Norwegian People's Aid International. Norwegian People's Aid Global e-Procurement brings together Norwegian People's Aid procurement staff and suppliers interested in doing business with the Organization.



Norwegian People's Aid Global e-Procurement functions are to:


  • Provide suppliers with a central and unique registration process;
  • Provide suppliers and the general public with access to Norwegian People's Aid procurement opportunities and contract awards and;
  • Disseminate relevant Norwegian People's Aid procurement and market information.



Norwegian People's Aid Global e-Procurement also supports Governmental Trade Promotion Organizations in promoting Norwegian People's Aid procurement opportunities within their business community.

Scams and how to report scams

Suppliers must be aware that fraudulent websites mimicking the Norwegian People's Aid Global e-Procurement- falsely stating that they are issued by, or in association with the Norwegian People's Aid and/or its officials- are circulating various correspondences via e-mail, Internet web sites, text messages, regular mail and/or facsimile.

These scams, which may seek to obtain money and/or in many cases personal details from the recipients of such correspondence, are fraudulent.

Norwegian People's Aid wishes to warn the public at large about these fraudulent activities being perpetrated purportedly in the name of the Organisation, and/or its officials.

How to identify and avoid scams?

  • Norwegian People's Aid Global e-Procurement does not charge a fee at any stage of its registration from vendors. Registration is free of charge.
  • Norwegian People's Aid Global e-Procurement does not request any information related to bank accounts.
  • Registration on Norwegian People's Aid Global e-Procurement – albeit a requirement from a Norwegian People's Aid to participate in a procurement process – is not a guarantee of being invited for participation in a tender process or being awarded a contract.
  • The Tender Alert Service, which is a value-added service to vendors, costs USD150 per year. Please note that procurement notices are also publicly available from www.e-procurement.org without any charge.
  • All Norwegian People's Aid website domain addresses end in .org, not .com.
  • Norwegian People's Aid Global e-Procurement officials' email addresses ends in .org and they do not use hotmail, gmail, etc for official business.

How to report a scam?

The Norwegian People's Aid strongly recommends that the recipients of solicitations exercise extreme caution. Financial loss and identity theft could result from the transfer of money or personal information to those issuing such fraudulent correspondence.

Norwegian People's Aid is not responsible for any such loss or theft. Victims of such scams may also report them to their local law enforcement authorities for appropriate action.
